Located north coast of England, Lerwich is the capital and main port of the Shetland Islands and it is the most northerly and easterly town in Scotland.
Lerwick is a busy fishing and ferry port. In summer, many yachts and cruise liners pass by Lerwick from ports around the North Atlantic. In winter, it is a refuge to defeat of the wildest weather.

April to September is the wonderful cruise season. In this time, Lerwick is not very cold with occasional rainfall.
